Dr. Zev J. Myerowitz Jr., D.C., DABCA, Dipl. Ac. (IACA), cSSHP, M.S., Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM), L.Ac.
Integrative Health Services Director
Dr. Zev Myerowitz is a third-generation chiropractor, licensed acupuncturist, and nationally recognized leader in musculoskeletal medicine. He serves as the Chief Medical Officer of Healios Integrative Health, the platform of clinics that Cape Integrative Health belongs to, and is the clinical architect behind our model of care—shaping how providers diagnose and treat complex cases with clarity and precision.
At CIH, patients know him for his problem-solving approach: listening closely, connecting the dots others miss, and creating clear, comprehensive plans that address the root cause of pain rather than just the symptoms. In his role as CMO, he extends that same philosophy across our sister clinics by training and mentoring providers to deliver the same standard of outcomes-based, patient-centered care.
Outside of the clinic, Zev is an endurance athlete and Ironman triathlete, bringing the same discipline and resilience to his clinical practice that he does to competition.
Amber Myerowitz, M.S., Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM), L.Ac.
Licensed Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Specialist
Amber Myerowitz is a licensed acupuncturist, co-founder of Cape Integrative Health, and a board-certified practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine. With a background in Human Biology from the University at Albany and a Master’s in TCM from the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture—where she served as class president for three years—Amber’s training has taken her from New York to the Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou, China.
Her philosophy is simple but powerful: having ownership over your health is the greatest gift you can give yourself. Amber is devoted to helping patients build health at the root—creating strong foundations in the body that support energy, vitality, and long-term wellbeing. She specializes in fertility support, chemotherapy support, and stress management, guiding patients toward sustainable outcomes through a collaborative approach.
Amber believes health is not just the absence of disease but the ability to live fully and actively. In co-founding CIH, she has carried that conviction into a broader mission: creating a model of care that empowers patients to take control of their health and thrive.
